25 Aug 2-5pm Food Safety for Medical Students year 4(Clinical student doing Community Health District posting in Kuala Pilah).
This lecture is to facilitate student learning through observation and participation on how Food Safety program for the entire district is being carried out by a District Health Management Team.
The services involve teamwork by health Inspectorate and paramedics in daily, weekly, monthly as well as annual planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of Food Safety and Food Hygiene concerning personal care e.g mothers, children, school children, working adults and high risk marginalized groups such as children, pregnant and lactating women, elderly, individual with special needs, underserved group such as aborigines, immigrants, poor families etc.etc. Food Act 1983 and Food regulation 1985. Food Handlers, Food and water borne diseases surveillance prevention and control measures.
